Fourier Series Existance

In electronics, the real signals encountered do not normally pose a problem with existence of the Fourier Series. However the mathematical conditions are as follows:-
The function f(t) must be absolutely integrable ie the following Dirichlet Intrgral I must be finite.
f(t) must be single valued, piecewise continuous(must have a finite number of jump discontinuities) and piecewise monotonic(finite number of maxima and minima).
